Smoke Fills Home On Eaton Street In Madison Township

MADISON TOWNSHIP, OH - Fire crews were dispatched to 1065 Eaton St. in Madison Twp. for a structure fire at 11:45 a.m. Thursday.  

The fire had started in the living room area of the home and was contained to mainly that room due to the quick response of fire crews. 

"Crews arrived on the scene made a very quick attack and were able to contain it right in the living room area with very little extension of fire into the other areas," stated Chief Ron Luttrell of the Madison Twp. Fire Department.

Madison Township, Mifflin Township Fire Department, and Troy Township Fire Department responded to the scene. 

No cause has been determined and it is unknown if the structure is a total loss at this time. No injuries were reported.
