Patrol Charges Ashland County Man with 7th OVI Offense

ASHLAND, OH -  The Ashland Post of the Highway Patrol charged an Ashland man with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol for his 7th-lifetime offense.

William B. Cahill II, of Ashland, has 6 prior convictions for operating a vehicle under the influence. He was arrested and charged after crashing into a mailbox and driving through a front yard on July 8th, 2018.

The crash occurred on State Route 511, near County Road 500 and was reported around 12:39 PM yesterday. No other vehicles were involved and there were no reported injuries.

He is currently incarcerated at the Ashland County Jail and awaiting his initial appearance in court. The case is pending.
