Florida Man Passes Away At Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course

LEXINGTON, OH - A Florida Man passed away during Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course, according to a press release issued by both American Motorcyclist Association and Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. 

The following statement was issued by the American Motorcyclist Association, Mid Ohio Sports Car Course, and WERA Motorcycle Roadracing:

"The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA), Mid Ohio Sports Car Course, and WERA Motorcycle Roadracing extend their deepest condolences to the family, friends, and fellow competitors of Mike Wells.

Wells, age 67, of Boyton Beach, Florida, a lifetime member and long-time WERA competitor, passed away earlier today."

It is currently unknown what the cause of death was, but it is suspected to be non-racing related.
