Mansfield Police Swear In New Probationary Officer

MANSFIELD, OH - A ceremony was held at the Mansfield Police Department on Monday morning to swear in a new Probationary officer.

Jonah B. Boyer, who previously worked with the Port Clinton Police Department, will be assigned to the Professional Standards Section of the Special Operations Bureau. 

Mayor Tim Theaker and Police Chief Kenneth Coontz helped swear in the new officer in the Hutchison Classroom at the police department, with Assistant Chief Keith Porch giving Boyer his badge. Boyer will serve as the Probationary Police Officer for approximately one year.
