Crawford Co. Council On Aging Names Hall Of Fame Inductees

BUCYRUS, OH - The Crawford County Council on Aging held their induction ceremony for the 2018 Golden Years Hall of Fame on Thursday, a tradition that has spanned over 26 years. Thursday night's ceremony featured eight inductees, who were chosen for their efforts to make Crawford County "a better place to live, work, and play."

The eight inductees, including Joseph A. Armbruster, Joan Carver, Mary Fox, Thelma Hawkins, Sandra Lane, Ray McCall, Gary L. Schiefer and Dr. Donald Wenner, were all given plaques to commemorate their induction into the hall of fame.

Families and friends of the inductees attended the ceremony, along with other community members who showed their support. Over 70 people attended the event. The ceremony concluded with a photo to be put into the Council on Aging scrapbook.
