GALION, OH-  The 2nd Annual Galion High School Booster Club Craft Show allowed visitors to purchase unique holiday gifts while giving back to the school.

The Craft Show took place on Saturday from 9am-4pm at Galion High School.

With 102 vendors, the craft show featured a variety of handmade items and baked goods according to Majorette Advisor, Vicki Myers.

"There's a little bit of everything for everybody, from baked goods to ornaments, just a whole gamut of everything," Myers said.

All of the money raised at the event went to supporting Galion High School students, including funding student-athletes so that they are able to join a team for free.

"The proceeds go for the kids.  The booster club sponsors academics and sports so this also helps our kids play for free," Myers said.

The event saw lots of shoppers and even featured student volunteers.  Myers said that the craft show was a great way to connect the community with the school district.

"It gets the public into the school so they see what we're doing and what it's about, so it's a really good reach-out program too for the high school," Myers said.
