MORROW COUNTY, OH - Nearly two thousand residents in Morrow County were left without power due to a fallen tree Tuesday evening.

As of 5:00 Tuesday afternoon, 1,902 households in the county were without power according to Ohio Edison. Crews quickly discovered that the cause was a fallen tree, which had come down on a wire that feeds a circuit that serves about 2,000 customers. The company was able to switch all but fifteen of the effected customers to another circuit, restoring their power at about 5:15 PM. The remaining fifteen households had power restored within the hour.
