Ashland Traffic Stop Leads To Seizure Of Drugs And Cash

ASHLAND, OH - A traffic stop lead to the seizure of drugs and cash in Ashland last Sunday.

On Sunday, February 3rd, Ashland Police made a traffic stop on Claremont Avenue. The stop led officers to the home of Robert Kircher, age 23, a resident of the 400 block of Sandusky Street. 

A search warrant was prepared and signed by Ashland Municipal Court Judge John Good. Officers and Detectives served the warrant at the home of Kircher. 

The search resulted in the seizure of felony bulk amount of high-grade marijuana and nearly $18,000 in cash. Suspected "Dabs" of a high concentration of the active ingredient in Marijuana, THC, was also seized. 

Officers also collected evidence related to drug trafficking. 

Robert Kircher is currently being held in the Ashland County Jail on one count of falsification, one count of use/possession of drug paraphernalia, and one count of trafficking in marijuana.  

The METRICH Drug Task Force also assisted in the investigation.
