I-71 Traffic Stop Results In Drugs, $8,000 In Cash Seized

ASHLAND, OH - Ashland County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Deputy Neff stopped a vehicle for speed (86 in a 70mph zone) on I-71 around 10 AM Sunday morning, and utilized his K-9 partner Luka, after criminal indicators made him suspicions.

K-9 Luka indicated on the vehicle and after a short search, Drugs, and over $8,000 in cash were found. 

19-year-old Jacub Carver was charged with Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs; Schedule 1 or 2 (2925.03)

Deputy Neff said, “Charges are under review by the Ashland County Prosecutor’s Office.”
