Kingwood To Hold Groundbreaking For Garden Gateway Project

MANSFIELD, OH - A groundbreaking will be held in early April to celebrate Kingwood Center Garden's new Garden Gateway Project. 

The groundbreaking, planned for April 4th, 2019 at 1:30 PM will be celebrating the beginning of construction of the 14,000 square foot Garen Gateway Center. New amenities will include an on-site cafe, new seating areas, an exhibit gallery, and a gift shop featuring greenhouse area and garden shop space. 

The Kingwood Ballroom will also provide venue space for large-capacity events and meetings. 

A new and expanded Woodlands auto-garden parking lot is also planned in the project, along with a Grand Perennial Garden and pavilion, and surrounding terrace gardens. 

Completion of the Garden Gateway Project is expected to be completed in summer of 2020. Kingwood mentions that the project is just phase one of a five-phase master plan to transform Kingwood. The 5 phase master plan is called "Honoring The Past - Growing The Future". 

The public is welcomed to attend the groundbreaking.
