MANSFIELD, OH - Country star Eric Church visited one of Mansfield's most famous landmarks for his latest music video, titled "Some of It," which was shot on-location at the Ohio State Reformatory.

Starring in the video are many local faces, including Jennifer Scruggs.

"I didn't have time to be nervous," Scruggs said. "It all happened so quickly. I was notified on a Saturday and I kept thinking, 'This can't be real.  Am I being punked here, or what?'"

The music video follows the journey of Church's character after his arrest in one of his previous music videos, "Desperate Man," at which point he is locked up at the Ohio State Reformatory.  Scruggs makes her big debut near the end of the video when she returns his belongings as he is released from prison. Scruggs' desk in the music video was actually the central guard room's kiosk. Also featured in the video was the Reformatory's exterior, the showers, and Church's cell. Throughout the video, pieces of Church's guitar are smuggled in to be built piece-by-piece as he receives letters from his daughter.

Marketing Intern and Tour Guide for the Ohio State Reformatory, Alayna Ross, also got to meet Church. She said the Reformatory staff was flattered that he and his team chose Mansfield as their music video location.

"It was an incredible opportunity," recalled Ross. "Everything was incredibly smooth. Everybody was fantastic and incredibly kind. It was like what dreams are made out of."

Both Ross and Scruggs said that Eric Church and his team were wonderful to work with.

"The scene in which we shot, he was right across from me," Scruggs said. "I got to touch his hand. I still look back and think, 'Wow. How was that real?' He was very nice and everybody we worked with was very kind."

For Scruggs and many of the other extras, an opportunity to be in the "Some of It" music video was the chance of a lifetime.

"I think it's every little girl's dream come true," Scruggs said. "We grew up in the age of music videos and to actually be a part of one was very exciting."
