ASHLAND COUNTY, OH- A semi driving the wrong way on Interstate-71 North had traffic down to one lane on Saturday night.

The incident occurred at around 8pm in Ashland County when 38-year old Milenko Milenkovic from New York was driving a 2012 Volvo Semi south on I-71.

Just south of MilePost 193, the vehicle entered the median, hit a cable barrier, and continued driving south in the northbound lanes for about half a mile.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol, Ashland Fire and EMS, and the Ohio Department of Transportation were all on the scene.

Prescription medications appear to be a factor in the crash.

The incident is still being investigated.
