One Vehicle Crash In Marion Leaves Ohio Man Dead

MARION COUNTY, OH- An Ohio man is dead after a one vehicle crash in Marion.

At around 11:04pm on Saturday, 60-year old William Imbody was driving west on Mount Olive-Green Camp Road.  He lost control of his 2004 Honda Civic and went off the left side of the roadway.

The sedan hit many obstacles including a telephone box and a tree before coming to a stop.

Imbody was pronounced dead at the scene by the Marion County Coroner.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Marion County Sheriff's Department, Green Camp Township Fire Department, MedCare EMS, and Buckeye Collision Services were all on the scene.

The patrol says that Imbody did not appear to be wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.  Alcohol and/or drugs are suspected to be a factor in the accident.

The crash remains under investigation.
