A Bellville man is fulfilling his dream of opening a unique diner that is sure to capture the attention of train lovers all across the country.

The final piece for the railroad themed diner, a 105-year-old steam engine, arrived in Bellville Thursday. A superload semitrailer carried the 175,000 pound dismantled locomotive to its new location at the corner of Ohio 97 and Interstate 71 interchange.

Developer Terry Byrne had the steam engine shipped from a scrapyard in Roanoke Virginia to his property. Bryne says he came up with the idea to open a railroad themed diner three years ago. Bryne says he hopes everyone will enjoy the diner once its complete.

Bryne expects to have the steam engine restored by next year.
