The Miss Ohio Scholarship Pageant is only a couple of weeks away but it can't get here soon enough for the current Miss Mansfield.

Nanciann Strosnider, 23, of Amelia, near Cincinnati, is the reigning Miss Mansfield. Friends, family and other supporters gave her a weekend send-off party at Westbrook Country Club in Mansfield as she prepares for the Miss Ohio Pageant.

In this, her fifth and final year as a contestant, the brown-haired beauty hopes to win the title to promote her platform, "Reconnecting the Missing Link."

The Miss Ohio Scholarship Pageant runs June 10-13.  The crowning of the new Miss Ohio will take place on the stage of the Renaissance Theatre in Mansfield on Saturday evening, June 13.
