The two students in Ashland County diagnosed to have contracted the Influenza A H1N1 virus, commonly known as Swine Flu, are back in class.

Ashland County-City Health Department Officials say one of the students attends Taft Elementary School in Ashland and the other attends Black River Elementary School outside of Sullivan. Both students have recovered from the flu and are no longer contagious.

Both schools are using antibacterial gel to sanitize the schools, including the lunchrooms, drinking fountains and school bus seats.  Health Officials say if you have flu-like symptoms, stay at home but contact your doctor.

Also, they remind the general public to utilize healthy hygiene practices.
