This year's Junior Fair King and Queen reigning over the Ashland County Fair are a seasoned veteran and a newcomer.

Megan Timmons, 18, of Loudonville, won the Queen's title in her third attempt at the crown and Mac Buzzard, 17, of Ashland, was crowned King in his first attempt in a contest which follows the fair's opening ceremonies.

Both could not single out just one thing they loike about the fair.

The runners-up in the Junior Fair King and Queen contest were Karla Neer, 18, of West Salem and Jeff Stimmel, 17, of Ashland.
