A Wayne County Common Pleas Court Jury Tuesday returned a guilty verdict against a woman for the murder of her boyfriend's wife in June in the Village of Apple Creek.

Barbara Raber, 39, could be sentenced to life in prison when she returns to court September 30. Raber was accused of slaying Barbara Weaver, 30, who was found dead June 2 from a shotgun wound to the chest at her home on Harrison Road in Apple Creek.

Raber maintained her innocence in the slaying and her Defense Attorney said it was Eli Weaver who killed his wife.
