Carousel Works in Mansfield joined forces with the Emmy award winning ABC reality series Extreme Makeover: Home Edition to create a carousel themed room for the Marshall family of Lancaster, Texas.

The Marshall's three-year-old daughter Jessica, suffers from seizures and their wish was to create a one-of-kind carousel room for their daughter.

Employees of Carousel Works gathered at Crossroads Community Church Sunday to watch the episode featuring their work. Extreme Makeover designer Paul Dimeo, contacted Carousel Works about doing the project and made a special visit to the company to see how the wooden masterpieces are created.

Carousel Works director of marketing Kate Blakley said the employees worked hard to create the chariot themed bed and decorative facade pieces.

Blakley traveled to Texas to transport the finished pieces to complete the installation of the carousel room.
