Mike Middleton is a man on a spooky mission, as some would see it, especially during the Halloween season. Middleton is a paranormal investigator, more commonly known as a ghost hunter.

He shared those various experiences about looking for paranormal evidence, in a Monday night presentation called "The Haunted Reformatory" at the Lexington branch of the Mansfield-Richland County Public Library. His presentation dealt with paranormal experiences at the Mansfield Reformatory and his ongoing quest to find proof there's life after death.

Middleton said experts believe 80 percent of all paranormal claims are false and he believes it's true. But, he said whatever is found during a paranormal hunt is pure evidence, and that's what investigators like himself are looking for.
