Ontario candidates for the November 3 General Election were the guest speakers Monday at the Richland County Republican Club weekly luncheon at the Cafe on Main Street in downtown Mansfield.

Mayoral candidate Larry Collins, law director candidate Allan Sowash and member of council at-large candidate Larry Arnold, spoke about the issues facing Ontario they would address if elected. Improving communication between the administration and council members, keeping the city fiscally stable and developing a plan for the future of Ontario were the main issues the candidates discussed.

The candidates all agreed that Democrats and Republicans must work together for the betterment of the city of Ontario.
