The Mansfield Planning Commission Tuesday reviewed the lot split of parcels abutting Atherton Avenue, West Temple Court and Boughton Avenue in the Chamber District.

Codes and permits manager Linda Price said the lot split is a reconfiguring of four lots into two lots which will be used to build two new homes in the Chamber District. She said the project is part of the Neighborhood Stabilization Program Grant. Price said the goal is to add new homes in the Chamber District.

In other business, the commission approved a site plan for a new dentist office to be built in the Aspira subdivision located on Trimble Road across the street from the Social Security Administrative Building.
