Shelby mayoral candidate Cohen Lewis said he was pleased with his campaign and the message he tried to share with voters.

Lewis said he was disappointed not winning but worked hard to to get the message out about his extensive experience in public office.

The 64-year-old retired in April as the budget and legal fiscal officer for the Richland County Commissioners. He has been a 2nd Ward councilman for six years.
