Ashland University hosted its annual Thanksgiving Convocation Tuesday in the Jack and Deb Miller Chapel, featuring an address by campus minister, Joseph Maggelet, titled, "The Joy of Giving Thanks."

Maggelet told the audience we all should give thanks to God in all circumstances we encounter which will inturn bring great joy to our lives. He said God has truly blessed our nation and we need to celebrate that.

Ashland University's women's chorus performed the anthem "Zion's Wall," and the university choir performed the anthem "Daniel, Daniel Servant of the Lord."

Maggelet has been with Ashland University since 1988. His main duties include athletic chaplain and fellowship of christian athletes as well as the prison ministry.
