A Galion woman faces multiple charges, including driving under the influence, following a one-car accident Thursday night on Middletown Road at Fairview Road in Crawford County.

Valerie Sue Prater, 40, was cited for OVI, failure to stop at a posted stop sign and failure to control. The sheriff's office says Prater was driving east on Middletown Road and failed to stop at the intersection of Fairview Road. She failed to negotiate a curve and went off the roadway into a wooded area where the car struck several trees.

She was not injured in the accident.
