The Madison Township Fire Department and the Richland County Sheriff's Office are joining forces to provide a greater community involvement in the areas of crime prevention in the Madison area.

The Safe Neighborhoods Initiative held a meeting Thursday at the Longview Center in Mansfield to discuss the groups goals and and mission.
