After bouncing Toledo Woodward last Friday 58-8, Mansfield Senior will try to run their record to 2-0 on the season as they host Cleveland John Marshall.  Tyger coach Chioke Bradley says in addition to winning, one of the good things about the game with Toledo Woodward is the fact that not only did the starters have a good night, but the backups also got into the game and showed what they could do during a varsity game.  On John Marshall, Bradley says one of the players to stop is Lawyer quarterback Tamaine Chappel.  Chappel is being looked at by several Mid American Conference schools and accounted for over 2,000 yards of offense last season.  Like Mansfield, John Marshall also won their first ball game beating Gallaway Westland 20-14.  Senior High has not started the season 2-0 since 2002 when they finished at 7-3 and advanced to the playoffs.
