Charlotte Jean Barler, 61, of 705 Portland Way South, Galion, died Monday, November 2, 2009 at Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus, after a lengthy illness.

Charlotte was born in Sommerset, KY on July 3, 1948 to the late Marlin and Zelma (Haynes) Barnes. She married Jackie Roy Barler on April, 1, 1966 and he survives her.

She was employed as a patient representative at MedCentral Hospital. Charlotte loved her family, working and life.

Charlotte is survived by her son Mark Barler of Mansfield and her granddaughter Jacquelyn Joy Barler. She is also survived by seven brothers and sisters.

She was preceded in death by her brother Layton Hale.

Friends may call from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at Iberia Cemetery, Iberia, with Pastor Brooks officiating.
