MANSFIELD, OH - For the third year in a row, community organizations are teaming up to bring the annual Ocie Hill Community Block Party to the Mansfield Community.

Taking place from 12 PM to 4 PM on July 28th in the block of Bowman Street, Harker Street, and Springmill Street, the event is set to provide a plethora of goods and services to the many community members expected to attend. In previous years, the event drew crowds of around 3,000-4,000 people.

"It's a wonderful time of unity," said Renea Collins, Senior Pastor at Kingdom Grace Fellowship Church. "School supplies are given away, there's free food, entertainment, all sorts of things. We really just wanted to do something on this side of town to bless the community."

Other attractions to the Block Party include free food, giveaways, and activities such as a rock-climbing wall, an inflatable bouncy house, and more. This year, Oasis Charities has teamed up with Mansfield City Schools, The United States Army, and a dozen other sponsors to help make this year's event better than ever.

"It's just expanded, it's grown," said Walter Jordan, Pastor of Oasis of Love Church. "This year, we're incorporating the Mansfield City School systems. Every year, more and more people collaborate with the event. Everything is free. Free haircuts, all kinds of food and drinks, bouncy houses and rock climbing, so we're very, very excited."
