BUCYRUS, OH – The Bucyrus City School District is seeking to reconnect with alumni near and far through a new Alumni Questionnaire on the district’s website.

The school district is working on several new programs that would connect its current students with alumni. The focus of these new programs is mentorship, career guidance and other important topics for current students.

“We’ve been able to work with alumni who returned to Bucyrus with great success,” said Bucyrus Superintendent Kevin Kimmel. “However, we know that we have alumni all over the country who could provide our students with great insights and guidance, and we want to work to make the connection.”

In addition to the new programs, the school district also has plans to develop an Alumni Spotlight feature. The goal of this feature is to showcase the many outstanding accomplishments of Bucyrus alums.

“We have so many alumni doing so many good things that need to be shared with our community,” said Kimmel. “The Hall of Fame is one way of showcasing our alumni, and the Alumni Spotlight would enhance that recognition even further.”

Alumni are encouraged to visit http://bucyrusschools.org/community/alumni and complete a short questionnaire. Please contact Superintendent Kevin Kimmel at kkimmel @bucyrusschools.org with questions or for more information.
