MANSFIELD, OH - A Mansfield woman was honored Monday morning by the People's Community Senior Center after she crocheted an American Flag for the center to display.

92-Year-Old Eve McCarrick's craftwork was put on display in a frame to hang on the Senior Center's walls with a small plaque thanking her for her contribution.

"My husband and I got the yarn for her, and then she crocheted it, dedicated it, and gave it to the People's Senior Center," said Betty Wilson, Volunteer Coordinator.

The People's Community Senior Center is located at 597 Park Avenue East. Meetings are held on Mondays and Thursdays, with free meals at 11:30 AM.
