Bicycle Days; INKcarceration Will Bring Weekend Crowds

MANSFIELD, OH -   Shelby Bicycle Days gets underway through Saturday this weekend. Bicycle Days is an annual community festival that takes place in the heart of Downtown Shelby.

Dates of the festival are Thursday through Saturday, July 12th through the 14th. 

This family event blends music, food, and fun into the history of Shelby Bikes that were once manufactured by the Shelby Cycle Company. The festival has taken place for more than 25 years in Richland County and continues it's legacy each summer. The event is free.


 If you are a tattoo enthusiast, don't miss the all new tattoo and music festival coming to the Ohio State Reformatory this coming weekend - the INKcarceration Festival.

This is a new event, and their first time to town at our historic prison, the perfect backdrop to an event that will draw thousands. The festival runs July 13th, 14th, and 15th, Friday through Sunday.

Join WMFD At The Crawford County Fair beginning July 15th through the 21st in Bucyrus at the county fairgrounds.

Fair week is the perfect pairing of hot weather and outdoor fun.

The WMFD At The Fair Show will air throughout the week and showcase fair events with the spotlight on people, farm animal exhibits and sales, food, and all that the county fair has to offer.  

There's plenty of daily events outside of your typical rides and attractions, including Harness Racing, Grandstand Pit entertainment, the OSTPA Tractor Pull, a Demolition Derby and this year's headliner: Livi Riggs on Tuesday night. 


Lastly, added to the national music lineup for January of 2019 is legendary country music artist Joe Diffie for a show on January 5th at the Renaissance Theatre.

The show will be a mix of his chart-toppers like "Pick Up Man", "Third Rock From the Sun" and "John Deere Green". But, he will entertain with a few new songs of a more current playlist too. 

Tickets will start at $15 and can be purchased online through MansfieldTickets.com or through the box office weekdays.    

With 13 albums, twelve number one hits, and over 20 top 10 singles, this concert of greatest hits and new music will please every fan at the REN.

Country music on a cold winter night ought to warm up the theatre come January!
