Annual Cops N Kids Program Sends Kids Home With New Clothes

MANSFIELD, OH- The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 32 of Mansfield hosted their 22nd Annual Cops N Kids program on Sunday at the Walmart on Possum Run Road. 

Over 100 kids participated to go shopping with a cop or FOP Lodge volunteer for new school clothing.

The FOP Lodge raises funds for this program through a five-week telephone campaign. President of FOP Lodge 32, Mike Bammann says, "What makes it possible is the generosity of businesses and the general public that reside here in Richland County. This county is very generous, has always supported this program, and allows us to reach a lot of kids."

This program partners with Kinship Care to assist children who live with grandparents, great grandparents, or other extended family members.
