SHELBY, OH - In celebration of moving to a new location, Shelby electronics store ESL Surplus held a ribbon cutting at their new building near the Shelby Community Airport. The business was formerly located at 36 East Main Street in Shelby but relocated to get more store floor space.

"We buy returned items, we buy items that have been liquidated as salvage from area schools, businesses, any type of facility that is getting rid of their old electronic inventory," said Jeff Angelini, an employee at ESL Surplus. "We take it here and we either break it down and recycle it or if they're usable components, we will take the usable pieces. We'll refurbish them, go through them, make sure they're 100% tested, and put them back out on the shelf so they can live another life."

ESL Surplus is now located at 4280 Hinesville North Road in Shelby, just west of the Shelby Community Airport.
