US 30 Westbound At 603 Closed Due To Truck Accident

ASHLAND, OH - U.S Route 30 Westbound is currently closed at 603 due to a two semi-truck crash that resulted in diesel fuel leaking onto the roadway. 

The Ashland County Sheriff's Office stated that a semi ran a stop sign at 603 and crashed into another semi carrying a fuel tank traveling westbound. The fuel tank was knocked off due to the collision and spilled fuel onto the roadway.

Authorities estimate that 200 gallons of fuel was being carried. 

Minor injuries were reported to both drivers. 

U.S Route 30 will be closed for a couple hours as crews work on scene for clean up. 

Traffic is currently being rerouted from 603 to 42.
