CRESTVIEW, OH - Crestview Local Schools and the Teachers Association have reached a tentative agreement to avoid any contract disputes in the future.

The following statement was released by Randy Dunlap, Superintendent of Crestview local schools:

We are happy that we have reached a tentative agreement between the board of education and the teachers association.

We're waiting for finalization of that agreement so that we can get ratification from both parties with some paperwork that needs to be taken care of and to make sure all the language is properly discussed during the negotiation process. We hope to have that back in the next week or two. Then, we can present it for ratification and get a contract in place. We're happy have this done, I think both parties are very pleased to have it done. We look forward to continuing to support our students and our community as we move forward.

According to the statement, the finalization of the agreement is expected to be done within two weeks.
