Mansfield Man Indicted In Zamien Scott Case

MANSFIELD, OH - 28-year-old Kory Baugh has been indicted on three charges in relation to the death of Zamien Scott, who was 18 months old at the time of his death in 2018.

Zamien Scott passed away in May of last year after suffering head injuries while in the care of a babysitter. According to a report provided by the Richland County Sheriff's Office, Baugh was arrested and indicted on Friday, February 8th, 2019. Baugh is charged with child endangerment and reckless homicide, both third-degree felonies, as well as involuntary manslaughter, a felony of the first degree. He is currently being held at the Richland County Jail on $100,000 cash bond, and an arraignment hearing is scheduled for February 12th, 2019.
