Over $2.5M In Grants Approved By Richland County Foundation

MANSFIELD, OH - Over $2.5 million dollars were approved during a February board meeting by the Richland County Foundation. 

A total of $2,544,460 were approved during the meeting. The grant was awarded from the Community Fund and Leona M. Miles Fund to the Imagination District to expand the Little Buckeye Children's Museum and Renaissance Performing Arts. 

Grants were awarded from Individual Assistance Funds to Mansfield Memorial Homes for Rotary Adult Daycare and Raemelton Equestrian Center for equine-based therapy scholarships. 

Grants were approved from donor-advised funds which allow individuals and families the opportunity to make grant suggestions to favorite charities.

    From July 18th until July 21st, veterans and their families in Caledonia were able to heal further when a smaller-scale replica wall, known as The Wall That Heals, made a stop in the community to offer the chance for community members and veterans pay respects to the men and women who gave their lives in the war in service to their country.
