Marion Hot Dog Vendor, Two Others Arrested On Drug Charges

MARION COUNTY, OH - Three individuals have been arrested and charged with numerous counts of drug trafficking following an investigation into the owner of Royal Dogs Hotdog Stand in Marion County.

On March 21, 2019, The Marion Metro Drug Enforcement Unit (MARMET) and the METRICH Drug Task Force, with the assistance of the Marion City Police Department and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, executed two search warrants in relation to the investigation.

Just after 10:30 am a search warrant was executed at 223 W. Columbia Street. There, detectives located 43-year-old Illya Green, 43-year-old Salena Glenn, and 34-year-old Kevin Swift. All three were arrested on drug trafficking charges, and Glenn was additionally charged with tampering with evidence. 

The second warrant was executed at 830 Kibby Drive at 12:15 pm, where vidence of drug trafficking was found.

Between the two warrants, authorities seized 150 grams of crack cocaine, 20 grams of heroin, 39 Oxycodone pills, 60 grams of marijuana, and $2,000 in cash. The street value of the drug seized is $18,500.

Chief Collins stated, “I relish in the fact they were able to arrest a major drug trafficker. MARMET continues to work hard to make Marion County a safer place to live."

The case remains under investigation.
