Two Transported After Two Vehicle Accident On Millsboro Road

ONTARIO, OH - Authorities responded to a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Millsboro West Road and OH-314 Monday afternoon.

According to Ohio State Highway Patrol officers on scene, a white Mercedes Sprinter driven by 43-year-old Jerry Amalgo of Columbus was hit when Amaglo failed to yield at a stop sign. The vehicle that struck Amaglo's was a blue Chevy Cobalt, driver by 18-year-old Haley Barnhart of Mansfield.

The impact caused the Sprinter to roll onto its side, uprooting a stop sign as it rolled over. The accident occured around 1:45 on Monday afternoon and both drivers were transported with minor to moderate injuries.

Amaglo was issued a ticket for failure to yield at a stop sign. 

The Ohio State Highway Patrol investigated the incident. They were assisted on the scene by Springfield Township Fire and EMS.
