BUCYRUS, OH - The Bucyrus Area Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the Galion-Crestline Chamber of Commerce and several other organizations, held the first-ever Route 30 Business Expo at Bucyrus's Pickwick Place event center on Thursday.

"This is a business-to-business expo," said Tyler Jacobs, Executive Director of the Bucyrus Area Chamber of Commerce. "We're getting all these businesses from Wyandot, Galion, Crestline, and Bucyrus, to be in the same event center together to network, establish business relationships, and to overall have a good evening."

Jacobs says that the goal is to build business relationships - to see companies help each other, not to directly compete with one another.

"Outside of community events, we like to build relationships from one business to another business so that they can rely on each other," Jacobs said. "We don't like to see businesses compete, we like to see them work together. There's a saying: A Rising Tide Raises All Ships. We like to build those relationships."

Over 40 participants showcased their businesses and services from all areas of Crawford County, uniting local businesses throughout the county.
