Fredericktown Police Seeking Dollar General Suspects

FREDERICKTOWN, OH - Fredericktown Police are searching for several suspects after the Dollar General store located at 11 Malibu Circle was broken into around 2 AM Monday morning.

According to Lieutenant Kyle Johnson of the Fredericktown Police, the break-in occurred at 2:17 AM when subjects forced entry into the store and stole merchandise including cough medicine, cell phone chargers, tobacco, and other items. 

The suspects' vehicle had been parked along the State Route 13 bypass, north of State Route 95. The suspects carried the items across a nearby field to the getaway vehicle, enabling them to escape without encountering surveillance equipment or other witnesses.

The police department is seeking information from the public to aid in the arrest of these suspects. If you were in the area of SR-13 and SR-95 between 2:00 am and 4:00 am on May 13th and can provide a description on a vehicle parked along the roadway, please contact the Fredericktown Police Crime Tip Line at 740-694-9222 (Option #8), or email an anonymous tip via the police department website.

The case remains under investigation.
