Ashland Police Release Sandusky Street Dispatch Calls

ASHLAND, OH - The Ashland Police Department released a series of calls made to dispatch services in March by officers at the scene of an officer-involved shooting.

As heard in the video above, Officer Lee Eggeman can be heard reporting that an agitated man advanced upon Eggeman and Officer Leah Zeisler. Eggeman then reports his service weapon being used and requests that the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) be called to the scene.

A Wednesday press conference held by the Ashland County Prosecutor's Office and the Ashland Police Department cleared Eggeman of wrongdoing, and returned him to duty.
