Ashland Seniors Attend Resource And Prevention Fair

ASHLAND, OH - A Resource and Prevention Fair for Seniors was held for World Elder Abuse Awareness Day in Ashland. 

The event was held at the Sherifff's Annex at 1205 East Main Street. The event promoted elder empowerment, elder abuse awareness and elder abuse prevention. 

Multiple organizations and local officials appeared and talked with seniors about how they can report elder abuse. 

The main goal of the fair was to inform the elder population that the community is here to support them. 

Presentations on Financial Exploitation and Abuse in Later Life was shown during the event. 

Local area agencies also set up booths to inform every senior in attendance.
