ONTARIO, OH- Motorcycles, a tow truck, and vintage cars paraded through Ontario Saturday morning waving to bystanders and encouraging friendly honks, all to wish Metta Pearl Metcalf a happy 100th birthday.

Metta Pearl said she was very excited to see so many friendly faces out at her birthday celebration.  Her family coordinated the whole thing just to show Metta Pearl just how very much she is loved.

"I don't even know how many people are here," Metta Pearl said.  "Thank you, thank you, thank you. If I missed you let me know. I'll give you a hug.  I've got lots of them left."

The spunky 100 year old says that she is thankful for a long and happy life filled with love.  "This is a wonderful world," Metta Pearl said.

"When your feet hit the floor in the morning say, 'Here I go.  I need to do one more good thing for God today,' and when you go to bed that night, you'll feel better," Metta Pearl said.

On such a special day, Metta Pearl wanted to remind everyone to live life to the fullest and appreciate every day.

"You enjoy life, and I wish that for everybody here.  No more aches and pains, and look forward to another good day," Metta Pearl said.  "You help somebody else, and they'll help you."
